with a sports team; Assist with PMP or Phys. Ed activities;
Help in our Clubs program teaching children to dance, knit,
make cards, yoga (whatever expertise you have). |
Parents
as Reading Tutors (PART) aims to increase confidence and literacy
skills for underachievers in reading. Volunteers are trained
to provide individual assistance for 30min a day, 4 days per
week for 8 weeks. It involves sharing books, reading aloud,
sight vocabulary and spelling activities. |
The
Learning Assistance Program (LAP) aims to build self esteem
through friendship and care from an adult volunteer. Sessions

learning a craft or playing sport - whatever interests the
child and LAP volunteer. |
